Join hands with the ghosts. [Mary Canty; Ragna Tischler Goddard] -- Everyone at school shunned the new girl who lived in the old "haunted house until they learned the house was haunted by good rather than evil spirits. "The Ghostly Hand" is one of many similarly-themed "spooky story" anthologies that were published by Scholastic throughout the 's and 's.

These books had wide distribution through school book orders, and are fondly remembered by many--myself included.

This book in particular was one of my favourites in the genre.5/5(7). Ghosts: True Encounters With the World Beyond by Hans Holzer is a comprehensive volume of the author's extensive research into the world of ghosts, spirits, and poltergists performed over the past 30 or more years.

Whether one believes in these phenomenon or not, the book makes interesting reading/5(84). These Ghosts Are Family is a "save it" book - one of those books I pushed along on my tbr from week to week, waiting until I had the energy and brain space to give it its due.
